DADDY DAUGHTER DANCEAt The Pride of Arkansas, we believe in creating positive experiences and lasting memories. The Daddy/Daughter dance is an experience that will last a lifetime! Spending time at rehearsal and working through choreography with your daughter is never time wasted. The memories of class, in fact, are as significant as performing the actual dance on stage in front of an audience. This time with your daughter is for you and your daughter… it is unique, important and very special. |

The non-refundable fee to participate is $99 (includes all rehearsals, dress rehearsal, and a choreography streaming video). This fee is non-refundable, so moms, make sure the dad knows about the dance and rehearsal dates before signing up. Dancers must be 3 years of age by Jan 1, 2019 to participate. There are 4 rehearsals on the following dates: TBA Recital is held May 18thth. Dads will also be asked to come 30 min early the day of recital for a short rehearsal on stage. Times of rehearsal will be different for each age group, and determined after registration ends. The sign up period ends January 12th. We will communicate with Daddy/Daughter participants via email. If you do not have email or if you never check your email, please prepare now for email communication. For the May 18th recital performance, the dancers wear a white dress and the dads wear a dark suit. Since we know it can be frustrating locating a white dress suitable for dance we will have some options available for you to order if you chose to do so. |

We realize that many dads travel out of town on business, however, rehearsal attendance is very important. You may miss only two rehearsals (not the dress rehearsal) and you should try not to miss any of the last two rehearsals, which is when actual on-stage placements occur. *Granddads, Uncles, Big Brothers, Cousins, Friends, Guardians are invited to perform if a dancer’s father is absent or otherwise unable to perform. If you have a different, unique situation, shoot us an email and we’ll figure out a way to make your dreams come true. A few words from a former daddy daughter dance participant: “The day seemed to fly by. When I was standing in the wings, waiting to go on with Emily, I was trying to sear that moment in my mind forever as a treasured memory.
